Kreyche was born in Chicago, IL, and raised in the mountains outside of Sacramento, CA. After a year of studying Opera at UC Irvine, he moved to Austin, TX to pursue a degree in History, and graduated magna cum laude in 2012.

​

After five years in Los Angeles directing, composing, writing, and acting for stage and screen, he married and moved with his wife to rural New Hampshire for a fresh creative start.

​

Self-taught as a composer, his influences include Jerry Goldsmith, Basil Poledouris, Joe Hisaishi, Nobuo Uematsu, Yo-Yo-Ma, Elmer Bernstein, John Williams, John Carpenter, Tangerine Dream, Richard Wagner, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Vangelis.

He uses a variety of software and hardware for scoring, including Kontakt, Spitfire, 8Dio, and Mixcraft. He is a multi-instrumentalist and plays the piano, keyboard, guitar, and flute.
